How does the OdourGone Sanitizing & Deodorizing System work?
The System uses a combination of safe chemicals in conjunction with a patent Efficiency System to deliver Chloride Dioxide (CLO2 gas), at a micro level, to all surfaces & sub surfaces of the infected area(s).
What does the OdourGone Sanitizing & Deodorizing System work on?
The System is the most effective & efficient deodorizing system of its time. It can be used on any surface and can even penetrate below most surface to completely remove odours, mold, mildew and bacteria. Learn more
How much does it cost?
The price for a OdourGone Sanitizing & Deodorizing System treatment varies depending on the volume of the infected area(s) and the type (and degree of) odour, mold, mildew and bacteria. Your local Odour Gone - Your Odour Abatement Specialists do offer clients a volume credit for multiple & regular scheduled deodorizing & sanitizing treatments
How safe is it?
The OdourGone Sanitizing & Deodorizing System uses Chloride Dioxide (CLO2) gas to reach and eliminate all odours, mold spores, and bacteria. CLO2 is stable at room temperature and does not break down leaving any toxic residue and oxygenates products rather than chlorinating them (so not overbearing chlorine smell).
CLO2 is considered a 'friendly' sanitizing product. For example, baby carrots are treated with CLO2 to prevent them from becoming slimy
During & After Service
Is it OK for me, my animals & plants to be present during the sanitizing & deodorizing service?
Plants and animals are safe from the effects of the OdourGone Sanitizing & Deodorizing System however, where extreme odour, mold, mildew and bacteria are present it is recommended that animals & plants be removed as increased dosages of CLO2 will be necessary to eliminate those infected areas.
How long after using the OdourGone Sanitizing & Deodorizing System do I have to wait to use the area/item?
After the CLO2 treatment of the infected areas there is a quick coll down period in which the area is re oxygenized (less than 1 hour typically). Immediately afterwards all activity can resume in the area. No messy clean up or scrubbing of liquid chemicals residue that are typical from conventional sanitizing & deodorizing systems

What is the difference between Chloride Dioxide and Chlorine Bleach?
Unfortunately the word '"chloride" appears in both but fortunately there are many differences. The big difference between the two is that Chloride Dioxide oxygenates whereas Chlorine Bleach chlorinates. Read More
How is OdourGone Sanitizing & Deodorizing System differ from other sanitizing & deodorizing systems?
Our Clo2 products are the only industrial grade Chlorine Dioxide in the market. Your local Odour Gone - Your Odour Abatement Specialists have the only products that are cost effective, using a calculated system of set weighted product, and a patented Efficiency System to ensure the most effective treatment. as CLO2 reaches and penetrates all surfaces & sub surfaces respectively This ensures the highest degree of success in eliminating odours, mold & mildew spores and bacteria.
More conventional sanitizing & deodorizing methods require a liquid application followed by scrubbing to neutralize and/or remove toxic residue. This makes the system vulnerable to areas that are unreachable by liquids or employees that do not perform to the expected standard of toxic substance removal.

What Chlorine Dioxide & What Is It)
The Patent Technology
The Delivery System
How does the OdourGone Sanitizing & Deodorizing System ensure the Chloride Dioxide reaches all surfaces & sub surfaces?
The System uses a patented technology that has been proven to be the MOST efficient in "moving" the CLO2 so that the precise amount of gas is released in a timely manner, to ensure the volume of the infected area is treated MOST effectively with the right concentration of CLO2. Unlike many gas systems that rely on the product to "off gas" itself (i.e. Chlorine pucks), our System ensures all surfaces & sub surfaces are reached and that the water based reaction, which produces the CLO2 gas, does not expire or fail to dispense evenly to all surfaces of the area).

What else & where is Chlorine Dioxide used?
Chlorine Dioxide is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use in food processing plants as a sanitation application for pasteurization equipment, heat exchangers, cooling towers, hard surface disinfecting and potable water treatment. It is already growing in popularity as a tool to control microbiological growth in the dairy industry, the beverage industry, the fruit and vegetable processing industries, canning plants, and in poultry and beef facilities.to destroy harmful bacteria and keep food & beverages safe.. It is more environmentally friendly than the alternative sanitation process.

On a more local level Chlorine Dioxide is used in many municipal water treatment facilities as it is less corrosive that it counterpart. In hospitals it is used to sterilize medical and laboratory equipment,. It's used as a fumigation treatment for fuits that have a tendency to develop mold and yeast (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
On a personal level it has been used in eye contact sanitation/ disinfecting, swimming pool sanitizing and mouthwash, .
Are there any other sanitizing & deodorizing services/products available on the market?
There are but unfortunately they complicated equipment to produce or leave harmful by products. Ozone is a commercially produced sanitation that requires specialized equipment to produce ozone.
Common household products like chlorine bleach, although believed to eliminate mold & mildew, does not.
